Dr. Michael Deek earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nova Southeastern University, graduating summa cum laude. He then pursued his dental education at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, where he excelled academically, graduating among the top of his class. His dedication to dental research earned him the prestigious Quintessence Award for Research Achievement.
Passionate about education, Dr. Deek serves as a faculty member and clinical instructor at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. He is actively involved in organized dentistry, holding leadership positions in local, state, and national dental organizations.
His research has been showcased at national conferences of the American Dental Education Association, and he has advocated for improved patient access to care through meetings with members of Congress in Washington, D.C., alongside the American Dental Association.
Dr. Deek is deeply committed to community service. He has led fundraising efforts with Operation Smile to support cleft lip and palate surgeries and organizes annual holiday donation drives for children in need.
Beyond dentistry, he enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Known for his gentle and calming approach, Dr. Deek is dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care, ensuring his patients feel comfortable and well cared for.
